Logitech’s latest gaming headset, the G633 Artemis Spectrum, isn’t just any run-of-the-mill headphones. Featuring Pro-G audio drivers (patent pending, at that) and Dolby Headphone 7.1 surround sound, the G633 is a customisable gaming headset complete with RGB lighting.
Looking at the G633’s list of specifications, it’s not hard to see just how much effort has been poured into it. Its patent pending Pro-G audio drivers are made from hybrid mesh materials for audiophile-like sound quality. Logitech claims that these drivers are capable of delivering “clean and accurate highs as well as a deep rich bass” that’s expected from premium headphones.
Other than that, the G633 also offers both Dolby Headphone 7.1 surround sound and DTS Headphone X. Just like Dolby’s offering, DTS Headphone X delivers 7.1 channel spatialisation. What makes it different, however, is the fact that it is optimised for gaming.
Interestingly, this gaming headset supports up to two audio inputs, making it possible to mix audio from two devices. It has USB and standard 3.5mm inputs just for the task. The G633 also works with PCs, mobile devices, and even video game consoles such as the Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Other interesting features of the G633 include swappable backlit speaker plates, programmable G-keys, RGB LED strips running across the side of the headphones, and a boom mic that can be easily folded back into the headphones when not in use.
The Logitech G633 Artemis Spectrum will be available in Malaysia from all authorised resellers from October 2015 onwards. It has a suggested retail price of RM599. If you’d like to learn more about this gaming headset, you can do so here.
