Can’t wait to find out more about the next generation iPhones? 9 September 2015 is the date to mark on your calendar because Apple has just confirmed that its next event will be happening on 9 September at 10am PDT – that’s 10 September at 1am for us Malaysians.
The event page from Apple is now live at this link. As always, the Cupertino company did not say what they will launch, but it is believed to be the next generation iPhones – iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and maybe an iPhone 6c too. According to rumours, Apple might even launch new iPads including an iPad Pro, as well as the Apple TV.
Siri simply refuses to give me a hint, she’s only giving me a “what what”. What.
Interestingly though, this time round, Apple’s live stream for the event will now support PC with Edge on Windows 10. This is the first time in years that Apple is opening up its live stream to non-Apple products. Apple uses HTTP Live Streaming technology (HLS) to stream its events to QuickTime, Safari, OS X and iOS devices. Now that Microsoft has implemented support for HSL as part of the Microsoft Edge browser, this means that Windows 10 users will now be able to watch the event directly without having to use VLC or other third-party apps.
Less than two weeks more before we can see the new iPhones. Are you excited yet?
