Have you ever been to a party or holiday with a group of friends, and wish there was an easier way to share all the photos with each other? Facebook has an app for that called Moments, and it has just gotten smarter with the ability to make videos out of your photos.
Launched in June, Facebook Moments is a private photos sharing app that lets you “get the photos you didn’t take”. Just sync your holiday pictures, and based on facial recognition, the app will suggest Facebook friends to share the pictures with. You friends can also add pictures to the “moment”, so you can keep everything in a single place.
Facebook has just made the app more interesting with the first major update to the app released today. Moments can now create a video collage of your moments. The collages are automatic, and Facebook will use at least 6 photos in a movie waiting for you to watch; you can even share movies with friends on Facebook.
The latest version of Facebook Moments is now available for download in the Play Store and App Store.
