Disappointed with the LG G Pad II 8.0 that was quietly launched by LG last week? Turns out, the company has another tablet up its sleeves, LG G Pad II 10.1, that has better specs compared to the 8″ variant.
To be launched at IFA 2015, which will be happening in Berlin, Germany next week, the LG G Pad II 10.1 is significantly more powerful than the 8” variant we saw last week. It features a large 10.1” 1920 x 1200 display, and is powered by a 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
It may not be the most powerful tablet in the market, but LG says that it offers the “perfect balance of performance and price to satisfy most consumers in the market”. To top it off, it has a generous 7400mAh battery, keeping users “entertained for hours on end”. Other specs include 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, LTE connectivity, and comes preloaded with Microsoft Office for Android Tablet with 100GB of free OneDrive storage for two years.
“The LG G Pad II 10.1 was developed in response to consumers’ feedback and optimized for multimedia consumption. Customers asked for a large display, bigger battery and faster performance all without raising the price.” – Chris Yie, Vice President and Head of Marketing Communications for LG Mobile Communications Company.
The LG G Pad II 10.1 will be available in both LTE and Wi-Fi options in key markets in North America, Europe and Asia.
