Lenovo Malaysia has announced that the Lenovo Vibe Shot will be launched tomorrow, which is in line with our previous report. According to the company, the new smartphone will be offered along with a Motorola Moto 360 and a Lenovo Selfie Flash for free. At least, that’s what the above image is suggesting.
Needless to say, if Lenovo Malaysia is offering the Moto 360 smartwatch for free along with the Vibe Shot, it’s a very good deal (assuming the price is reasonable). Not surprisingly, according to the promotional image above, only 100 units of the Moto 360 will be made available. The Selfie Flash, on the other hand, would be useful for selfie lovers.
In terms of specification, the Vibe Shot is equipped with a 5-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.7GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 128GB, and a 2,900mAh battery.
Of course, the highlight of the Vibe Shot is its camera. The rear camera has a 16MP BSI sensor with optical image stabilisation and infrared autofocus. It even comes with a physical shutter button. As for the front-facing camera, it’s equipped with an 8MP sensor.
At the time of writing, details on the retail price and availability of the Lenovo Vibe Shot have not been revealed yet. We’ll just have to wait until tomorrow for further information. If you’d like to learn more about the Vibe Shot, check out our hands on of it.
