The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ aren’t the only devices Samsung has up its sleeves. The company recently launched a clamshell smartphone in China with dual displays, called the SM-G9198.
The SM-G9198 is an upper mid-range Android flip phone from the Korean company. It features two 3.9” Super AMOLED displays with a resolution of 768 x 1280, both of which are Gorilla Glass 4 for durability. On the insides, the device is powered by a six-core Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD slot.
Camera wise, the SM-G9198 has a 16MP f/1.9 shooter at the back, while the front has a 5MP shooter with the same aperture. Other specs include dual SIM support, NFC, LTE, 2,020mAh battery, and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
From the specifications, this is possibly the most powerful clamshell Android phone from Samsung. Sadly though, it is very unlikely that this device will ever make its way to Malaysia.
