Motorola has managed to suffer not one, but two separate leaks of the 2015 edition of the Moto G. Moto Maker customisation options for the Moto G were accidentally revealed on the official website; while a Brazilian retailer jumped the gun on a promotional video announcing the specifications for the phone.
The leaks have revealed that the new Moto G will have a 5-inch Full HD display, a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, 8GB or 16GB of storage, micro SD slot that holds 32GB cards, 4G LTE, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, IPX7 waterproofing, and Android 5.1.1.
Unfortunately, the video has been taken down from Youtube. Although that probably wouldn’t have help anyone who doesn’t speak Brazilian Portuguese. That being said, the video has been uploaded to a mirror link that is still active. Note that it is horrifyingly slow to buffer.
Like its predecessor, the 2015 Moto G will feature a white or black front panel; which will be accompanied by a collection of 10 rear colors. There also appears to be 10 different metallic accent colours, along with FlipShell add-on cases as well.
No pricing has been revealed for the Moto G just yet, although that will likely be known after Motorola’s “find your match” event on 27 July.
