Meizu Malaysia has just announced that the affordable M2 Note will go on sale in Malaysia this coming Thursday. Launched in China just about two months back, the successor to the M1 Note has several notable upgrades, such as the inclusion of a microSD card slot.
Interestingly, the M2 Note will be sold for RM699 (instead of the original retail price of RM799) only from Lazada. The online retailer will be holding an exclusive 2 weeks sale for the phablet from the 23rd of July 2015. Every purchase of the M2 Note during the sale period will come with a complimentary M2 Note back case and a tempered glass screen protector.
If you’re wondering which variant of the M2 Note that the Malaysian market is getting, it’s the 16GB model. Thankfully, it has a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 128GB if you need more storage space. Other specifications of the M2 Note include a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution Sharp IGZO display, a MediaTek MT6753 1.3GHz octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, 4G connectivity, and a 3,100mAh battery. It also comes with 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras.
At the time of writing, it is not known if Meizu Malaysia will bring in the higher capacity 32GB variant of the M2 Note to Malaysia. For now, only the 16GB model will go on sale later this week on Lazada.
