If you’re an especially active user on MSI’s English forums, take note; you might just be able to redeem a gaming laptop from the Taiwanese company. Dubbed as the MSI Rewards Programme (MRP), it aims to reward active members of the forum. Other than an MSI GE62 Apache gaming laptop up for redemption, there are also a GTX 960 graphics card and copies of Far Cry 4 and The Elder Scrolls up for grab.
In order to start earning points, however, things can get a little tricky. The easiest way to start earning them is to register an MSI product under your account. The first product registered will net you 50 points, while subsequent product registrations are worth 25 points each.
For forum members who want to go a step further, they can also post an unboxing video or article of an MSI product to get 20 points. If you already own an MSI system, you can also write (or make a video with commentary) about how a new game runs on it to get 10 points. Of course, these have to be posted on the proper section of the forums to earn points.
So, how many points do you need to redeem the MSI GE62 Apache gaming laptop or the equally drool-worthy MSI GTX 960 graphics card? Well, a whopping 9000 and 2000 points respectively. Seeing how these are the two most valuable items up for redemption, it’s not hard to see why there’s only one unit of each available. Copies of the Far Cry 4 and The Elder Scrolls, on the other hand, only go for 300 points each, and there will be 50 of both games up for grab. (Although we only see 10 copies of Far Cry 4 and two copies of The Elder Scrolls left at the time of writing.)
The MSI Rewards Programme is available globally, so if you’re aiming for the MSI GE62 Apache gaming laptop, we’d start raking in the points. More information on the reward programme can be found here.
