Using Facebook on your iOS device? Facebook recently rolled out a Snapchat-like photo editor to its main app, allowing you to add text, swipe to change filters, or paste Facebook stickers onto your pictures easily.
The feature should be available to most iOS users right now. The company has always been working on improving the ways you share pictures on its network – auto enhancing features, filters, Stickered app and such, and now, say hello to a new text and filter option.
“People want to be creative when they share experiences with their friends and family on Facebook. We are rolling out a new place to house all of Facebook’s photo-editing tools, making it even easier to add filters, stickers, or text to your photos.” – Facebook told TechCrunch.
When you first pick a photo on your Facebook app on iOS to share, you will see a vertical line run across the photo. Just swipe, and you will see different filters such as “Auto”, “Vintage”, “Spring”, “Summer”, “Fall”, “Winter”, and “Snow”. Swiping lets you see how the different filters look next to each other, making it a lot easier to pick a suitable filter.
The new features are available immediately for iOS users, As for Android users, the company says that they are testing things out.
