If you are a big fan of Counter Strike: Global Offensive and have been dreaming of making it big, this is definitely one of your best chance so far. As reported yesterday, the Asian offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne 2015 will take place at eCurve Mutiara Damansara next month and will feature eight top teams from around the region with one slot is specifically reserved for a Malaysian team.
In order to choose the team that will represent our country at the Asian qualifier, ESL will be organizing the Malaysian qualifier for ESL One Cologne 2015 on 27 June.
According to the rules, more than 50% of the team must reside in Malaysia or having Malaysian nationality in order to participate in the qualifier. Since Malaysia has its own qualifier, Malaysian teams are not eligible to take part in the Southeast Asia qualifier for ESL One Cologne 2015.
As opposed to the Asian offline qualifier, the Malaysia qualifier will be taking place online. Registration is free of charge but for participating teams that are not used to compete through ESL’s comprehensive platform, they might want to study ESL’s system in order to avoid confusion.
With that, good luck to all participating teams and we hope that you will be able to make it all the way to Cologne this August.
