Yes 4G recently added the Xiaomi Mi 4i into its postpaid bundle, offering the device, along with a Huddle XS, from as low as RM0. The bundle is also in conjunction with Yes’ on-going Raya Merdeka Bonanza 2015 promotion that offers even more data than before.
Yes is offering the Xiaomi Mi 4i with its Super 78 and Super 98 plan tied on a 24 months contract. The plans comes with up to 2,000 minutes of free calls and 2,000 free SMS to the same network via Yes Life app, for RM78 and RM98 a month respectively. Super 78 comes with 8GB of data, an increase from 4.5GB, while the Super 98 plan comes with 10GB of data (up from 6GB).
Do note that upfront payment will be rebated back to your bill over 24 months. The free calls and SMS for on-net usage is only available via Yes Life app.
The Xiaomi Mi 4i is one of the most affordable smartphone in the market right now with a retail price of RM749. It features a 5” 1080p display, and is powered by a second-generation 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of non-expandable storage.
Camera wise, it has a 13MP f/2.0 Sony IMX 214 camera sensor at the back, while the front is equipped with a 5MP f/1.8 shooter with “selfie-enhancing” mode. Other specs include 3120mAh battery, Dual-SIM, Dual-LTE, and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
