Along with the new Mi WiFi, Xiaomi also introduced a new elegant-looking Mi Bluetooth Headset that costs only 79 Yuan – that’s about RM48.
Available in black or white, the Mi Bluetooth Headset has a cylinder-shaped unibody design with “anti-oil spraying technology (that) has won the 2015 iF product design, Germany”. Weighing at only 6.5g, it is small and light enough to act as a pendant when not in use.
Specifications wise, the Mi Bluetooth Headset features the latest Bluetooth 4.1 technology. Bluetooth 4.1 comes with automatic noise reduction feature and together with an improved silicone ear cap, it allows for a quitter and more focused vocal when in use. Xiaomi says that it is made from components from world-class suppliers who work with big brands like Sony and Jabra.
As for the battery, the Bluetooth headset may be small, but it is built to last. According to Xiaomi, it can last for 5 hours of calls, and 1 week in standby.
The Mi Bluetooth Headset will go on sale in China on 18 June 2015, for a retail price of 79Yuan.
