Hearthstone players have a new game mode to look forward to later this month. Blizzard has announced the introduction of the Tavern Brawl mode, which seems to provide a more casual environment for players to experience the game.
The Tavern Brawl mode is not a set game mode for playing the game. Instead, Blizzard will change the rules of the Brawl every week; creating an ever changing set of circumstances. One week may require players to use pre-constructed decks, while the next may end up buffing certain minions.
Not every player will be able to enter the Tavern Brawl, as the mode is only unlocked once a player has a Hero at level 20. The news post says that this is because people need to toughen up before entering the fray.
Tavern Brawls will become available in Mid-June, and to celebrate the launch players will receive a free pack of cards after they win their first Brawl. Unlike the Arena and single player campaigns, entry to the Tavern Brawls are free.
