We were introduced to Microsoft Ventures Accelerator during our tour at Microsoft Research Asia. As mentioned previously, it is basically a programme that is meant to help startups…well, get started. The good news is, Microsoft Asia is currently on the lookout for new startups to join the programme, and the best part? Even Malaysians can sign up for it.
That’s right. If you have a great idea that you would like to share with the world, Microsoft Asia would like to hear from you. We have seen several startups that have been accepted into the programme (more on that at a later time), and we can safely say that the opportunity to work with Microsoft Asia will prove to be vital for most entrepreneurs to launch their company.
That being said, it won’t be easy to get accepted into this programme. If you do manage to get in though, you will be provided with cloud computing services worth $500,000, six months of world class work space (free of charge, of course), and many other resources to help scale your business.
If you’re interested to get into the Chinese market with your idea, you can apply for the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator program here. Applicants will have to download the form and send it to mvachina@microsoft.com by the end of June 2015.
This could be where your idea takes off.
If you have any other enquiries about the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator programme, you can shoot an email to mvachina@microsoft.com as well.
