Officially announced to the world back in March, iflix which was co-founded by KL-based Catcha Group and US-based Evolution Media Capital is an upcoming video on-demand service that has been touted by many as the “Asian Netflix”. The nickname might seemed bold but still fitting at the same time as iFlix aims to deliver more than 10,000 hours of contents from across the globe to customers in this region.
Scheduled to be available in several Southeast Asian countries throughout 2015 including Malaysia, it has come to our attention that iflix is now sending out invites for users to access its Private Preview session.
We starting to notice it last week through this particular post on our forum’s Kopitiam section although we do believe that some users might even receive such invite way earlier. iflix itself then made an announcement regarding its Private Preview invite through its Facebook page on 22 May followed by another remark by its own CEO, Azran Osman-Rani on 23 May.
Once activated, the Private Preview pass will give users 30 days’ worth of access to iflix which can be utilized either through its website or mobile apps. In case you have not signed up for the iflix Private Preview session, you don’t have to worry as it still can be done so via its front page.
For those who have activated their Private Preview access, do let us know how’s your iflix experience goes at the moment either through the comment section below or the iflix thread over at Lowyat.NET Forums’ Kopitiam.
