Asus seems to be plastering the “Zen” branding on practically everything nowadays. The Taiwanese company will be holding a “Zensation” event at Computex 2015, which will take place in its home country. More likely than not, Asus will be announcing several new products there.
Among the products that Asus will be showcasing at the Zensation event are the ZenBook UX305, Transformer Book T300 Chi, ZenBook UX501 (which is reportedly coming to Malaysia soon), and of course, ZenFone 2. While these products have already been officially announced, many are speculating that two (well, technically three) other products will be unveiled there: the Asus ZenWatch 2 and ZenPad tablets.

Details are light on the ZenWatch 2, but we do know that it will make an appearance as confirmed by Asus’ Chairman in a recent earnings call. The ZenPad tablets, on the other hand, have been leaked pretty extensively. So far, two tablets have been reported ahead of their launch: the ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8.
Both tablets are rumoured to be powered by an Intel Atom processor and are said to be running on the Android platform. The ZenPad 7 tablet is the lower-end model with a (possibly) 7-inch 1024 x 600 IPS display, 1GB of RAM, and choices of either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage. The ZenPad 8, on the other hand, allegedly has an 8-inch 2048 x 1536 display, 2GB of RAM, and four choices of internal storage from 8GB up to 64GB.
Asus sure is stirring things up for what it will be showcasing at Computex this year. We’ll keep you updated as we draw closer to the event.
