Want to get a new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus? Maxis has just revised the value of old devices for its iPhone trade-in program, offering more than before with a guaranteed minimum value of RM200 for any phone – the old phone doesn’t even need to be in perfect condition. On top of that, for new and port-in customers, Maxis is offering an additional RM100 in rebates.
When Maxis first announced its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus trade-in program, they only accepted a very limited number of old phones, with very low trade-in value. This time round, they have revised things a little, offering as much as RM1,200 for your old smartphone, or a minimum trade-in value of RM200 for any other phones you can think of.
The screen of your old phone is cracked or the case is damaged? No problem, the telco now also accepts phones with cracked or scratched screen, and still offers RM200 for it, so you don’t need to bring it to a phone shop and pay even more just to get it fixed. The only terms and conditions are that the phone can be powered off/on, and has access to the IMEI number.
Want to make even more out of the trade in? If you’re a new customer, or plan to port over to Maxis to sign up for the iPhone 6/6Plus trade-in offer, the telco will offer an extra rebate of RM100 – RM50 for 2 months.
So what’s the catch? You will need to sign up for a 24 months contract to purchase an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. The price of your old device will be used to offset the price of the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, which means that you can walk home with a new iPhone 6 from as low as RM509 when you trade in any device with them. If you have one of the devices listed above, you can even receive bigger rebates.
You can opt for a MaxisONE plan + 1GB data for RM158 a month, or a iValue 1 (RM100 a month) / iValue 2 (RM155 a month) / iValue 3 (RM250) postpaid plan.
