Disney has announced the next installment in the Disney Infinity line. Known as Disney Infinity 3.0, it will have a heavy focus on the Star Wars franchise. Backwards compatibility will mean many hours of mixing the multiple Disney universes, and many empty wallets.
The Star Wars figures will cover all three eras of the movies, including the “Twilight of the Republic” and “Rise Against the Empire. It will also have a playset featuring characters from the new movie line. Expect most of the main characters from the Star Wars universe to receive figures, and Disney has revealed that Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, Darth Maul, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Darth Vader are all appearing at some point, along with locations like Tatooine, Hoth, and Endor.

Avengers: Age of Ultron inspired figures will also be sold, with the Iron Man Hulkbuster and Hulk both confirmed to be appearing. Other Disney properties like Frozen, Inside Out, Tron: Legacy, and Mulan are also receiving figures.
As usual, Disney Infinity 3.0 will start with a Starter Pack priced at US$64.99 (about RM230). While Disney Infinity 2.0 featured the Avengers in the Starter Pack, this time it will be themed along the lines of Star Wars “Twilight of the Republic” with both Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano included in the pack. Disney Infinity 3.0 is expected to be released in Fall of this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
