Details about the specifications for two new Windows phones have begun floating around, and it looks like fans of the Windows platform are about to receive the kind of flagship device that they have been waiting for. It also looks like Microsoft is looking to make two similar devices, that are mainly differentiated by screen size.
The two devices are codenamed Cityman and Talkman, which are interesting in that Microsoft is not using codenames relating to a video game they own. Cityman is apparently the flagship design, which packs a 5.7-inch QHD display, 3GB RAM, a Qualcomm Octa-core processor, and a 20-megapixel rear camera. Other rumoured specifications are a removable back cover, 32GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot.
On the other hand, the equally impressive Talkman retains most of the same specifications and switches out the processor for a Qualcomm hexa-core processor. The Talkman is also much smaller with a 5.2-inch display.
Windows 10 Mobile will begin shipping after the PC version which is due in July. There is no news about when these high-end smartphones will be appearing, but they are expected to be released this year.
