Leagoo has released yet another smartphone, but this time around, it’s not an entry-level or a budget mid-range device. Equipped with a 1.4GHz octa-core processor from Mediatek that is paired to 2GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch 720p display, the Elite 2 is definitely a capable smartphone. However, retailing at RM749, it’s not exactly a budget device – unlike the mid-range Lead 7’s RM599 price tag.
Other than the mentioned specifications, the Elite 2 also has 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card up to 32GB, a rather generous 3,200mAh battery, dual SIM support, and Android 4.4.2 out of the box. In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper.
On paper specifications aside, the Elite 2 also has two strips of metal lining the left and right sides of it. While we have no idea how it would feel like without actually holding the device, we have to admit: it looks pretty sleek, although a metal frame would have been nicer.
The Leagoo Elite 2 is now available in Malaysia at a retail price of RM749, which is inclusive of GST. It also comes in three colours: white, black and grey. if you want to learn more about the Elite 2, visit its official product page.
