Digi has rolled out a new forum, called the People Powered Hub, on its website. Despite having no official announcement, it looks like this is a one stop place for people to communicate with Digi and discuss matters about the telco. It also looks like an easily accessible place for information about Digi and its plans.
The People Powered Hub looks like a traditional web forum, with sections divided into things like telco plans, devices, announcements, and an off-topic subforum (creatively called Teh Tarik). It is difficult to say who is using the forum, since it has only just gone live last night. That being said, there is already a substantial number of posts appearing; at least substantial for a brand new forum.
As far as being useful, the forum has a well populated FAQ section; which answers more than a few questions that customers may have about Digi services. All the posts appear to be made a week ago, which gives us an idea of when the groundwork for this launch started. There is also the option to ask Digi a question at the top of the page, but users will have to log in before being allow to actually ask a question.
How much traction this forum will get is still unknown, but it is good to see Digi reaching out to its customers and providing them an open platform to discuss matters pertaining to the telco. With any luck, it will grow out of its current stage of Digi employees pretending to talk to each other.
The Digi People Powered Hub can be found at the Digi website, or just follow this link.
