Honor Malaysia has started teasing its latest flagship smartphone, the Honor 6 Plus, on its Facebook page. Other than the ambiguous “coming soon” picture that it has posted, there are also six new notes on its page that are mentioning the Honor 6 Plus. More likely than not, a launch event for the new flagship will be happening soon.
To further drive the point home that the picture above is teasing the Honor 6 Plus, a video explaining how the flagship’s dual-camera setup works has a scene that is very similar to it. Skip to the 2:20 mark and judge for yourself:

Unfortunately, Honor Malaysia is rather secretive about the whole thing. When eager fans asked if the picture it posted was to tease the arrival of the Honor 6 Plus in Malaysia, the company only said that it has yet to receive any information regarding the flagship’s launch date, and promptly asked fans to stay tuned to its website or Facebook page for more information.
In any case, the Honor 6 Plus is a very well-equipped smartphone. It is powered by a Kirin 925 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display by JDI, 32GB of storage which is expandable with a microSD card up to 128GB, a generous 3,600mAh battery, two 8MP rear cameras, and an 8MP front-facing shooter.
In the Chinese market, the Honor 6 Plus retails at 1,999 yuan (about RM1,170) for the 3G model, while the 4G variant is going for 2,499 yuan (approximately RM1,460). Here’s hoping Honor Malaysia will reveal more about its latest flagship’s availability on our shores soon.
