Asus has announced an open registration for STRIX membership for owners of its STRIX branded graphics cards. The membership carries with it several benefits, which includes possible discounts for future graphics card upgrades and the chance to attend product launches.
Perks of being a STRIX member include receiving exclusive vouchers on special occasions, along with newsletter updates via SMS and e-mail. Not only that, members will get invited to special events like a STRIX member gatherings, product workshops and even future product launches. New members will also receive an e-coupon; the value of which is unknown.
STRIX graphics card owners who are interested can sign up for a membership through this link. Other than filling up personal information, users need to email the proof of purchase (receipt) and photo of the eligible STRIX graphics card with the serial number to the specified support email address. Successful applicants will receive a notification email within 14 working days from the date of application, and the STRIX membership card will be sent to members within 30 working days.
Few things left to note is that the membership is exclusive, non-transferable and a RM10 fee will be charged should the card be lost. Once the application is done, only time will tell if the benefits are truly beneficial for STRIX graphics card owners as there is no real information about the value of the coupons. That being said, any discount is a bonus considering that membership is free.
