Xiaomi already has the Mi Note on sale, but it seems that the Pro version of the phone is ready to make its official debut. The phone has passed certification tests and might be launched alongside Xiaomi’s Global Phone at the ‘i Is Coming’ event on the 23rd April 2015.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro along with its pricing was already unveiled back in January 2015 but was recently spotted on China’s TENAA mobile device certification site. This indicates that Xiaomi is ready to start selling the device in China at anytime and make plans for international distribution of the device.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro features a 5.7-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, resulting in a 515ppi screen. The device runs on four 2.0GHz Cortex-A57 cores and four 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 cores. Graphics wise, it’s running on an Adreno 430 GPU paired with a whopping 4GB of RAM.
It has 64GB eMMC 5.0 flash internal storage with no expansion capabilities. In terms of connectivity, the Mi Note Pro supports the standard Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi ac, Cat 9 LTE as well as the GSM, TD-SCDM, TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA spectrums. Powering the device will be a non-removable 3,000mAh battery.
The Xiaomi Mi Note Pro runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and will be sold for 3,299 Yuan (about RM1,976). Besides the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, the Xiaomi Mi 4i “Ferrari” is also expected to be announced at the Xiaomi press conference.
