Finally, after acquiring Snapseed for so may years, Google has decided to give this photo app a much needed update. Starting today, Snapseed for Android and iOS is blessed with new editing tools with “the precision and control of professional photo editing software”.
The new tools provided in this update includes lens blur, tonal contrast, intelligent perspective transform and spot healing. On top of that, it also allows users to have more control over their photo with more precise editing feature. Using the app’s brush tool, you can selectively apply filters and effects to any single part of an image.
Last but not least, there is also a new “non-destructive editing” feature via Stacks that allows you to easily re-edit or undo any changes without affecting other edits. For example, if you tuned your picture, changed the contrast and applied filters, but you wish to change the contrast, you can just pick the contrast edit, and change it without affecting the filter you picked.
In addition to that, if you have plenty of pictures to edit and wish to give them a similar look, you can easily copy edits from one image to another.
The latest Snapseed with new features is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
