Don’t trust the regular selfie sticks you can get in the market for an unbelievably cheap price? Here’s an official one from a camera manufacturer – the Nikon N-MP001.
Nikon recently announced a selfie stick of its own that is designed to work with its latest Coolpix point-and-shoot cameras. So, how is it special compared to other selfie sticks we have? It boasts a very light weight of only 186grams, and is extendable from 18.50cm all the way to 72.5cm.
Nikon says that it connects to compatible Nikon cameras, but since it uses a tripod socket for connection, it should work with a wide variety of point and shoot cameras, as long as the camera doesn’t weigh over 400 grams. In addition to that, it also features a tripod socket at the bottom of the handle for versatility.
Sounds fancy for just a stick that helps extend your camera, so don’t expect a cheap price. The N-MP001 costs US$59.95 – that’s about RM220, almost ten times more expensive than the selfie sticks sold in Storekini.
