Remember the new internet plans from Celcom Xpax that offers non-stop browsing? The plans are now more attractive because Celcom is allowing subscribers to carry forward unused data quota as many times as you want.
The new internet plans form Xpax can be purchased from as low as RM5 a day for 300MB of data, all the way to RM58 a month for 4GB of data. 4GB sounds like a whole lot, especially for those who have Wi-Fi at home and at work, but don’t worry, if you can’t use it all up, you can carry forward your internet unlimited times.
Xpax is allowing carry forward of unused internet for all of its internet plans with auto renewal – weekly, 2 weeks and monthly. However, do note that you can only carry forward unutilised data unlimited times provided you maintain the auto-renewal of your internet plan. If you miss an auto-renewal, any remaining data will be forfeited.
So, is there a catch? Sort of, there’s a limit to how much data you can carry forward each month:
If you have more data than shown on the table above, the extra quota exceeding the limit will be forfeited.
Finally, previous terms and conditions still apply. For those who purchase a new internet plan before the previous one has been used up, the existing validity and volume quota of the on-going plan will be forfeited. The new expiry dates and FUPs will supersede. If you finish up your quota but do not wish to purchase a new data quota, you can still continue to surf the internet free of charge however, the speed will be reduced to 64Kbps.
