WD has announced several new network attached storage (NAS) devices for its My Cloud line. These new NAS systems extend into several different series, which include the My Cloud Expert and Business Series. If you’re a prosumer or is running a business, you might just find these NAS devices interesting.
The My Cloud Expert Series sees two new NAS devices, namely the EX2100 and EX4100, which are two-bay and four-bay NAS systems respectively. Both the EX2100 and EX4100 are designed for prosumers or professionals who need to reliably save, share, back up, and manage large amounts of data. Powering these two NAS systems is a dual-core Marvell ARMADA processor and is available with up to 24TB of storage.
The My Cloud Business Series also has two new NAS systems, which are the two-bay DL2100 and four-bay DL4100. Unlike the Expert Series, these NAS devices are mainly targeted at businesses which need reliability and security above all else. The DL2100 and DL4100 have an Intel Atom dual-core processor under their hood along with up to 24TB of storage.
The EX2100, EX4100, DL2100 and DL4100 start from RM1,099, RM1,769, RM1,549 and RM2,359 respectively. It’s worth noting that these retail prices are for the diskless units of each respective models. All four NAS devices are available immediately at selected retail stores. If you need more information, you can visit WD’s official website.
