In addition to launching the new Transformer Book T300 Chi and ZenBook UX301 yesterday, ASUS Malaysia has also announced that there will be two more laptops coming into our market under the Transformer Book Chi and ZenBook series. Specifically, they are the smaller 10.1-inch Transformer Book T100 Chi and the more powerful 15.6-inch ZenBook Pro UX501.
Apart from featuring a 10.1-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) display, the T100 Chi is also powered by an Intel Atom Z3775 quad-core processor. The Malaysian unit apparently will also feature 32GB worth of internal storage alongside 2GB of RAM. Just like any other product within the Transformer Book series, the T100 Chi is a 2-in-1 convertible device that can be used as a laptop or a tablet.
On another hand, the ZenBook Pro UX501 (shown below) is a full-fledged laptop which include an Intel Core i processor and a dedicated GPU. The actual specs for Malaysia is not yet known at the moment but the general specs did state that it is powered by a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M GPU with up to 4GB GDDR5 VRAM.
Other than that, the 20.6mm laptop also features 16GB of RAM alongside up to 512GB PCIe x4 solid state drive. Furthermore, its 15.6-inch IPS display also able to output at 4K resolution (3860 x 2160) with 72% NTSC colour gamut.
While ASUS Malaysia are not able to disclose the pricing for both products at the moment but they did revealed that the T100 Chi is expected to be made available in Malaysia by end of April or early May while Pro UX501 will follow suit in May.
