Microsoft continues its charges into the world of affordable smartphone by unveiling its most affordable Windows Phone to date: the new Lumia 430 Dual SIM. Priced at only USD 70 (around RM 260), the new smartphone comes standard with the latest Lumia Denim update for Windows Phone 8.1.
Built with 4-inch 800 x 480 LCD display, the Lumia 430 Dual SIM is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor. It also carries 1GB RAM and 8GB worth of internal storage with the support for microSD card with storage of up to 128GB.
Being an affordable smartphone, the Lumia 430 Dual SIM photography is rather basic with 2.0-megapixels fixed focus rear camera and 0.3-megapixels front camera. Its battery capacity is quite average as well at 1500mAh that provides up to 8.4 hours of 3G talk time and 12 days of dual SIM standby time.
Still, the smartphone is able to support 3.5G connectivity with download speed of up to 42.2Mbps and upload speed of 5.76Mbps. Available in black and orange, the Microsoft Lumia 430 Dual SIM will be released in several market throughout the world including APAC (that’s where Malaysia is) starting from this coming April.
