During their official launch earlier this month in Barcelona, the Vice President for IT, Mobile and Digital Imaging for Samsung Malaysia Electronics, Lee Jui Siang has stated that the company has aimed to release both Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge into our market by mid-April. Well, looks like Samsung will be able to meet its target then as both devices have been spotted on SIRIM’s database.
Registered as SM-G920F and SM-G925F (shown below) respectively, we believe that these models are not only released in Malaysia but in Europe as well. This is due to the fact that the same model numbers have been listed on Samsung UK and Italy’s website. The listing on SIRIM didn’t provide new information though since we are already aware early on that both Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are LTE smartphones.
Even though Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have now been cleared for release in Malaysia, there are still around one month to go before their scheduled launch in our market. Anything could happen between now and then, so you might want to hold your horses before getting too excited. Besides, we are pretty sure that everyone are curious to know how much Samsung will price both devices in Malaysia.
For the meantime, do check out our first hands-on look at the brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge during their recent global launch at Barcelona right here.
