Fallout Gaming’s Major All Star Dota 2 Tournament is happening really soon and the organiser has just announced the event schedule for the three-day LAN finals. That’s not all, they have also announced that the American team, eHug has withdrawn itself from the tournament with Swedish team, Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) replacing them.
The schedule for the three-day event has been released and registrations start at 8am as doors open at 9am. The opening ceremony will be held at 9.30am on day one with the competition starting from 10am onwards. Some of the highlights would be the All-Star Match which is happening on day two at 1.30pm. The grand finale will be a best of five series, set to commence at 4.30pm on the final day. The exact team bracket information has not been revealed yet, but in the meantime, readers can refer to the schedule as below:
Other than the ongoing Dota matches, there are several on-ground activities like cosplay by the members from Dota 2 Malaysia Circle (D2MC), team signing sessions, and team photo sessions to keep fans entertained. The Secret Shop will also be at the event to sell official Dota 2 merchandise and goodies. These on-ground activities will be open to all ticket holders, from Stout Shield to Crimson Guard tickets.
In other news, team eHug has officially withdrawn from the tournament and NiP has been arranged to take their place in Major All Stars. The announcement was made by the organisers but the reason for the withdrawal was not disclosed. It is quite odd that an American team is being replaced by an European team, but no explanation has been provided for this arrangement.
