Always dreaded going to the nearest convenience store or mall just to get your groceries? Then you might want to check out HappyFresh, which has just been launched in Malaysia today. HappyFresh claims that it can deliver your groceries to your doorstep within an hour.
HappyFresh isn’t just any small startup either. For one thing, it is really well-backed. According to its press release, the company is supported by a seven-figure (and this is in USD) undisclosed round of pre-series A financing from venture capital firms, international angel investors, and institutional backers.
In order to provide its users with fresh groceries, HappyFresh has signed exclusive partnerships with a number of stores in Kuala Lumpur; although it didn’t reveal just which stores it has signed up with. If HappyFresh can indeed deliver (literally) its promise of a one-hour delivery time, you can probably say goodbye to getting stuck in traffic to get your groceries done now.
As it is, HappyFresh is only available on mobile. If you would like to try it out for yourself, you can download the app over at the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. For more information, you can also visit HappyFresh’s official website. Seems like grocery shopping won’t be as tedious any more.
