Apple has announced that the Edition version of the Apple Watch will start from US$10,000 (about RM37,050) and this by far, is the most expensive smartwatch on the market. With that kind of money, there are lots of things we could buy and here at Lowyat.NET we’ve decided to come up with our very own list. If you recall, we made a similar list some years back with the Nokia Lumia 1020 – it’s safe to say we’ve got a lot more financial freedom to explore with RM37,050.
In all seriousness, the $10,000 Apple Watch Edition isn’t for everyone. In fact, it is actually one of the more affordable 18-karat gold watches you can find – at the level Apple is positioning the Apple Watch Edition, you can easily find watches that are priced well into six-figure amounts. That’s why you won’t see a luxury watch listed here. As “normal” consumers, we would not be able to comprehend such levels of indulgence – so let’s take a light-hearted look at what we can buy for the price of an Apple Watch Edition.
