It looks like Zopo too has got something to show off at the on-going MWC 2015. The company recently announced a new Zopo Touch ZP530, a mid-range Android smartphone that features a 2.5D curved glass.
On the inside, the Zopo Touch ZP530 is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There’s an 8MP camera at the back, along with a 5MP wide-angle front facing camera. Other specs include a 2100mAh battery, dual-SIM support and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
But the specs isn’t what the Zopo Touch ZP530 is all about. The new Zoop Touch series is focused on appearance and design. The device features a 5” HD IPS screen that is covered by a 2.5D curved glass surface similar to the one found on the iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and such. It’s pretty slim too, measuring at 8.8mm, and it features 9-membrane layers on its back cover. The Touch also adopts a small arc design, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, making it more confortable to hold on to.
Sadly though Zopo did not mention anything about pricing and availability but since it’s been shared on Zopo Mobile Malaysia’s Facebook page, let’s hope that we can see it in our market too.
