MWC 2015 isn’t the only exciting thing happening at the moment. Nikon has just announced the Coolpix P900, a point-and-shoot camera that has a huge 83x optical zoom on board.
Equipped with a 24-2000mm lens, the Coolpix P900 is actually pretty compact for what is has got to offer. On top of a long zoom range, it also has a bunch of features on board to make taking pictures and videos, whether it’s near or far, a whole lot easier.
The Coolpix P900 is equipped with a 16MP CMOS sensor with a high performance autofocus system that is capable of shooting 7fps. Paired with a Vari-angle 3” LCD display, the P900 is versatile enough to let you take pictures in every shooting scenario. In addition to that, with NFC and Wi-Fi on board, users can easily and quickly edit and share their pictures by sending to a compatible smartphone or tablet.

Other notable features on the Coolpix P900 include snap-back zoom button to effortlessly frame subjects when shooting super-telephoto shots, Side Zoom Control buttons to help combat camera shake, and intuitive control layout to make it easier to capture pictures and videos.
The Coolpix P900 is scheduled to be launched next month for US$600 – about RM2,180.
