A new leak has surfaced that shows how the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge could look like. Previously, many leaks have surfaced about the upcoming Galaxy flagships and it seems like they might be the real deal as the images do tally with the design shown in the picture.
These new images tally with the “prototype Galaxy S6” which appeared online last week. Despite appearing to be a fake, the position of the heart rate sensor and LED flash is, however, consistent with both Verus and Spigen’s cases. A previously leaked schematic shows the Galaxy S6 measuring 6.91mm thin, which is very close with the 6.85mm iPhone 6. What’s interesting is also the Galaxy Edge which can be seen on the far right of the image, lying horizontally on the ground.
CNET Korea obtained the images, which shows the phones encased in Verus-branded mobile phone casings, from a South Korean electronics distributor. The South Korea-based company manufactures premium cases for high-end smartphones, and it previously had another digital render which they claim to be the actual S6.
All leaks and rumours considered, these “Galaxy S6 cases” from Verus and Spigen does lend credibility to the design of the S6 as well as the existence of an Edge variant for the flagship smartphone. With just a few weeks to go until Samsung’s Unpacked event, these smartphones will not stay under wraps for much longer.
