OnePlus will be integrating Swiftkey into the next CM11S ROM update for the OnePlus One. The collaboration between the two companies rids users of the need to download the app and allowing them to switch to Swiftkey with just one touch.
Swiftkey is a keyboard replacement for Android (iOS as well) that uses Artificial Intelligence to learn the user’s typing behaviour, helping them type faster and more efficiently. It comes complete with themes, support for 81 languages, and the Flow feature which allows users to type using gestures. Not only that, Swiftkey also has a pretty accurate prediction system where it understands what the user is typing and predicts the next word or even emoji.
OnePlus has promised to continue supporting the One, even after parting ways with Cyanogen over an exclusivity deal in India. While the Swiftkey addition is a minor one, the company will also include an official CM12 Lollipop update; along with the mention of something “pretty sweet” coming soon.
