South Korean online marketplace, 11street, has opened registration for a Malaysian version of its site. The e-commerce site plans to officially launch for consumers in April 2015, and is now looking for sellers to fill out the marketplace. It is also offering extra commercial benefits and perks for those who register to sell products on 11street.
11street touts itself as the largest online marketplace in South Korea, and is looking to expand operations to Malaysian. The company will be investing some RM35 million into attracting sellers to its platform, and hopes to have around 11,000 vendors by the end of 2015.
Sellers who register with 11street before April 2015 will receive exclusive commercial benefits such as no store fees, a 50-percent discount on transaction fees, complimentary use of Seller Zone facilities, promotion credits, and product listing coupons. Other perks like 11street shopping credits, petrol vouchers, and movie vouchers will also be included.
