iPhone clones have always been associated with low-end specifications and sub-par software, but the Dakele 3 is markedly different. Unlike the iPhone 6, this particular clone actually has sapphire glass display that was previously promised by Apple.
The respectable hardware doesn’t just stop there either. Powering the Dakele 3 is a Mediatek MT6752 1.7GHz octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM. The 5-inch display isn’t too shabby either with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, boasting a pixel density of 441 PPI compared to the iPhone 6’s 326 PPI.

Other specifications include 16GB of internal memory, a 2500mAh battery, LTE connectivity, and 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras. The Dakele 3 is also running on KeleUI, a custom ROM based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
In terms of dimension, however, the Dakele 3 is actually thicker than the iPhone 6. But Dakele claims that the camera does not protrude because of this, unlike the iPhone 6’s camera. The company also went on to say that the Dakele 3 will not bend as well. Dakele sure isn’t shy to talk about the many shortcomings of Apple even though it is producing a clone of the iPhone 6.
The Dakele 3 retails at 1,499 Yuan (about RM855) and is currently available only in China. At that price point, the Dakele 3 might just provide enough competition for other Android smartphones as well.
