Spy photo of Oppo’s next smartphone has surfaced online after Oppo’s product manager posted the photo on his Weibo account, asking users what they look forward to seeing in the phone. It is highly likely that the device shown is the Find 7’s successor, the Oppo Find 9.
Judging from the leaked photo, the Oppo Find 9 might be a larger device with much thinner bezels. That being said, the photo shows a large bottom portion which makes the Find 9 a rather tall device. Seeing that the earpiece and front camera are placed further towards the edge of the phone, we might also see more screen real estate compared to the Find 7.
Not much has been revealed about the Oppo Find 9 but some of the rumoured specifications include a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, 4GB of RAM, a 2K display, improved VOOC charging technology, and the addition of fingerprint scanning. Not only that, there is also news that Oppo only has plans to release the Find series this year and they are currently not considering any release of their N series phones.
As usual, do take these rumours with a pinch of salt as Oppo has not officially mentioned anything about the Find 9, yet.
