Apart from extending the availablity of HyppTV Everywhere to non Unifi and Streamyx subscribers earlier this month, TM has also implemented another significant change to the IPTV service. The change comes in the form of packages realignment which resulted in two existing packs being discontinued and replaced with three new packs.
Up till early January 2015, the HyppTV packs are consisted of Mega, Platinum, Ruby, and Sports. TM has since decided to drop Mega and Platinum packs while introducing Jumbo, Aneka and Varnam packs at the same time. As for Ruby and Sports packs, they are still available for HyppTV subscribers.
Here are the channels available within the three new HyppTV packs:
For existing Mega and Platinum packs customers, they are free to continue enjoying their current arrangement or switch to either of the new packs. However, do note that existing customers might be charged RM 5 or RM 10 as swapping or downgrade fees respectively. Not to forget, all HyppTV packs come with 12-months contract regardless of whether you are new or existing customer.
If you are interested to subscribe to any these packages above, it can done directly through your HyppTV set top box by pressing the i button on your remote control, select HyppBuzz >> Hypp Package, and follow the given instructions. Alternatively, you can choose to do it through MyUniFi self-care portal, UniFi and Streamyx call centres, selected TMpoint outlets, and authorized TM resellers.
Before you do that though, you might want to read and fully understand the terms and conditions for all these HyppTV packs at its official website. You know, just to be sure.
