MWC 2015 will definitely be an extremely exciting event to look forward to. Among the many mobile devices that are expected to be unveiled – Samsung Galaxy S6, Sony Xperia Z4, HTC One Hima and more, it looks like Samsung will unveil a special version of the Galaxy S6, which will come with two edge displays.
According to Sammobile, they seem to have confirmed that Samsung is developing a Galaxy S6 with two edge displays, one on each side. The device will be a special version of the Galaxy S6, much like how the Galaxy Note Edge is to the Galaxy Note 4. The device will have a model number SM-G925.
LG already has a dual edge display phone for show at CES 2015 earlier this month, but it was only a prototype from LG Display. If true, the one from Samsung will be a fully functioning device. Sammobile says that it will run the same panel-based system, and will have all the panels from the Note Edge including Yahoo! Finance, news and sports, briefing, pedometer, favourite apps and contacts, and more that can be downloaded from the Korean company’s own app store.

In addition to that, the “Galaxy S6 Edge” will come with extra features to make it more unique, like the ability to change which side would be the main side (left-handers rejoice!), Glance Lighting that will light up the Edge when you receive a call or notification, and the ability to assign different colour lights to different contacts so when it lights up, you’ll know who’s calling.
Anybody looking forward to a working smartphone with two curved edges? I’m actually very curious to how one would hold on to such device, especially when using only one hand.
