Visceral Games has just announced Battlefield Hardline’s second open beta test. This second beta test will be available on all platforms, namely PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and even the previous generation consoles, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. While a date has not been given yet, the developer said that it is “coming sooner than you may think” on its Twitter page.
@codyLausch We’re working on finalizing everything and will announce the beta date as soon as we can. It’s coming sooner than you may think.

To make things even more interesting, there will be no level cap as well. Players can level up as much as they want and unlock more content as they do so (although no progress will be carried over to the final release).
Visceral Games emphasised the importance of this beta test to ensure that the game is able to run without a hitch when it is released. After all, nobody likes to receive a buggy game on launch day.
To be frank, we want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve.
The first beta test for Battlefield Hardline was only available on PC and PlayStation 4, so it’s nice to see that the upcoming beta session is coming to all available platforms. The game is currently set to launch on the 17th of March 2015.
