Meizu has just released a teaser with the date 19th January on it, with what seemed to be angpows decorating the teaser image. Many are speculating that the Meizu M1 Mini will be unveiled on that day, which is basically a smaller version of the M1 Note that was launched a few weeks back.
However, there are several conflicting launch dates. Previously, the M1 Mini has been speculated to be launched on the 27th of January, and with this latest teaser from the company, it’s just another date for consumers to expect the new smartphone to launch.
According to recent rumours, the M1 Mini will feature a 5-inch 1080 display, a Mediatek MT6753 octa-core processor paired to 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front-facing shooter.
To make things even more interesting, the M1 Mini’s alleged plastic back cover has been making rounds on the Internet. It seems to sport the same plastic unibody design language of the M1 Note, which we all know bears resemblance to a certain plastic phone from a rather fruity company.
Whether or not the phone will be unveiled on the 19th or 27th of January, the M1 Mini’s rumoured starting price starts from as low as 599 Yuan (about RM345). We’ll find out more about this smartphone as the launch dates draw nearer.
