PlayStation is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this year, and is kicking it off with a sale on the PS Store. More than 60 games from its history are currently being discounted, and PS Plus members are also treated to additional discounts on the same games.
Final Fantasy fans will be glad to note that the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is going for 40-percent off, with PS Plus members being able to pick it up for 50-percent off. This includes the Collector’s Edition of the game with comes with a few extras. Older Final Fantasy hits like FFVII, FFVIII, and FFIX are also on sale through PSOne and PS2 classics.
Okami HD, Devil May Cry HD Collection, and Prince of Persia HD are some of the high definition remasters for the PlayStation 3 that are currently, discounted. It looks like this is a good time to catch up on older games that might have been missed.
The titles on sale are some of the greatest hits from the long history of PlayStation, although quite a few of the newer games are noticeably missing from the list. While the lack of discount on the latest games is a little disappointing, there should be something for everyone here.
A full list of discounted games is available on the PlayStation blog. The sale will last until 19 January 2015.
