It might only been a week since Intel unveiled the brand new Broadwell U 5th generation Core processors at CES 2015 but it seems like the company’s OEM partners such as Acer and Lenovo have wasted no time to introduce products with the new chips in Malaysian market. You can now add Dell into the list as well since plenty of laptops with Broadwell U chips have appeared on Dell Malaysia’s website.
In addition to the new 2015 Dell XPS 13 that was released into our market just hours after it was revealed at CES 2015, selected Dell Inspiron 7000 series laptops have been spotted with the new chip as well including the Inspiron 13 2-in-1, Inspiron 15, and Inspiron 17 with Touch Display. In terms of pricing, their base price starts from RM 2,699 up to RM 4,399.
At the same time, the 5th generation Intel Core processor option is also available for Dell Vostro 14 5000 Series with a starting price of RM 2,199 onwards. The same option has also been extended to the company’s Latitude business laptops such as Latitude 14 3000 series alongside Latitude 12 5000 and 7000 series.
Not to forget, the 5th generation Intel Core processors are also available for Latitude 14 5000 and 7000 series as well. However, we don’t have their pricing at the moment since the company didn’t list out the pricing for business laptops on Dell Malaysia’s website.
