How big can an Android tablet get? According to Fuhu, a company that already has a 24” Android tablet called Fuhu Nabi BigTab HD 24, Android Tablets could be as big as a television sets, measuring up to 65”. The company just announced new line of Big Tab XL tablets with sizes of 32”, 43”, 55” and 65”.
According to Fuhu, these tablets can double as your TV so yes, they will feature UHD displays, but only on the bigger tablets. The Big Tab XL will run on the “latest Android” (it doesn’t say whether it’s Android KitKat or Lollipop) featuring Fuhu’s Blue Morpho OS, and will pack all the usual things like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, HDMI, and since they’re so huge, they will also feature 20-40 point capacitive touch displays so yes, your entire family can stand in front of the television playing games together though, I’m not quite sure it’ll damage your kid’s eyesight.
Specs wise, according to Android Police, the 32” and 43” models will have Full HD displays and will be powered by a Tegra K1 processor with 2GB of RAM. The bigger ones will have Ultra HD displays and hopefully, better hardware.
As with most products from Fuhu, these tablets are targeted at kids and families, so they will be equipped with a bunch of games, creativity, e-book apps, and such.
