ASUS is ramping up the hype for its upcoming smartphones ahead of their launch at CES 2015. With its official press announcement not due until tomorrow morning, the company has released another teaser video with a message delivered in Morse Code.
The Taiwanese company has already released an earlier teaser about the imaging prowess on its next smartphone, with the tagline “See What Others Can’t See”. More importantly, the teaser video also shows what appears to be a dual-camera setup similar to the Honor 6 Plus.
Here’s ASUS’ latest teaser video:

In the teaser, you can clearly see dots and dashes at the top and bottom half of the screen, while the 13-second long clip also has Morse Code audio looping in the background. Translated, the Morse Code on the screen says “Optical Zoom”, which strongly hints at another feature on ASUS’ next smartphone. It would be interesting to see how ASUS implements this feature alongside the dual-camera setup, since optical zooming requires the lens to actually protrude outwards, a la the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom.
It won’t be long until we find out how it will all turn out, as ASUS will be holding its CES 2015 press conference at 3am tonight. If anything, those teasers will likely mean something truly interesting to be announced.
